Step into the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple Complex, a vast religious city spanning over 100 hectares. Walk the grand Avenue of Ram-Headed Sphinxes, marvel at the 134 towering columns of the legendary Hypostyle Hall, and discover sacred lakes and towering obelisks that tell stories spanning 1,500 years.
Next, we visit Luxor Temple, a center of divine rejuvenation. As the afternoon sun illuminates its elegant facade, you’ll admire colossal statues of Ramses II and the historic Abu Haggag Mosque, which is built right into the structure.

At the Valley of the Kings, where you’ll descend into three richly decorated royal tombs carved deep into the Theban cliffs. An optional visit to the tombs of Tutankhamun or Seti I is also available for an additional cost.
Next, we explore the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Built into the limestone cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, this terraced masterpiece honors Egypt’s first female pharaoh. Our final stop is the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that once guarded a grand temple.
After returning to the cruise for lunch, we’ll set sail south toward Esna. You’ll enjoy scenic views of charming villages and lush riverbanks as we pass through the historic Esna Lock. Dinner will be served as we continue sailing toward Edfu for the night.

We’ll travel to the temple by horse-drawn carriage, giving you a taste of 19th-century travel. The Temple of Horus at Edfu is the most well-preserved temple in Egypt. Built to honor Horus, the falcon-headed god, this temple is filled with intricate reliefs depicting the battle between Horus and Seth, vast courtyards, and an atmosphere of ancient grandeur.
Return to the boat for lunch as we sail toward Kom Ombo.
The Temple of Kom Ombo is a unique dual-deity temple with a perfectly symmetrical design. One half honors Sobek, the crocodile god, while the other is dedicated to Horus the Elder, god of kingship and the sky. You’ll discover detailed carvings of ancient medical instruments and a calendar before we visit the Crocodile Mummification Museum. We’ll return to the ship for dinner and continue sailing toward Aswan.

Our day begins with a visit to the High Dam, a modern engineering marvel that tamed the Nile. Our final stop is the ancient granite quarries to see the Unfinished Obelisk, which offers a unique glimpse into ancient stone-working techniques.
