What To Expect

Day 1: Aswan City Tour and Nile Cruise

Upon your arrival in Aswan, our English-speaking representative will meet you and take you to your Nile cruise ship in a private, air-conditioned van. You’ll check in before 12:00 PM and enjoy your first lunch on board.

Afterward, you will begin your tour of Aswan, starting with the High Dam, built in 1960 by President Gamal Abdel Nasser to protect Egypt from the Nile’s annual floods. Next, you’ll take a scenic motorboat ride to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which was dedicated to the goddess Isis during the Graeco-Roman period. The final stop is the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive piece of red granite dedicated to the god Amun-Ra.

After your tour, you will return to the ship and have the evening free to relax or explore Aswan on your own. Dinner will be served on board.

Day 2: Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples

Wake up to breakfast on the ship. Your Egyptologist guide will then take you to the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique temple where the gods Sobek and Haroeris were both worshipped.

Afterward, return to the ship for lunch on the sun deck, where you can admire the stunning scenery of the Nile as you sail. In the afternoon, you will take a horse-drawn carriage ride to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your ship to relax.

Dinner will be served on board, followed by a lively Egyptian Folkloric Show performed by the crew.

Day 3: Luxor West Bank

Enjoy breakfast on the Nile cruise before embarking on a tour of the West Bank of Luxor, often referred to as ancient Thebes. Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground for pharaohs of the New Kingdom.

Next, you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. This architectural marvel is carved directly into the mountain and is considered one of the most stunning examples of ancient Egyptian design. The tour concludes with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

You will then return to the ship for lunch. The rest of the afternoon is free to spend at your leisure. Dinner will be served on board, where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Luxor East Bank and Departure

After breakfast, you will check out of the cruise ship at 8:00 AM. Your final tour of the trip will take you to the East Bank of Luxor.

You will start with the massive Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious building in the world. The tour ends at Luxor Temple, which was built by King Amenhotep III and completed by the famous King Ramses II.

After the tour, a private, air-conditioned van will transfer you to your desired location in Luxor, where our services will conclude.

    Everything was perfect! Omar is a real gentleman with perfect English, so I definitely recommend this tour. Also, we were advised to start the tour early in the morning at it was very wise decision, we were able to avoid huge crowds of tourists.
