Day 1: Luxor West and East Bank – Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut & Karnak

Begin your 5-Day Dahabiya Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan with a memorable sightseeing tour of Luxor.

Meet your private Egyptologist and travel by private air-conditioned vehicle to the West Bank of Luxor. Your first visit is the famous Valley of the Kings, where you can explore several royal tombs carved into the desert cliffs and learn about the pharaohs of ancient Egypt.

Continue to the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to one of Egypt’s most powerful female rulers. The temple is built into the cliffs of Deir El-Bahari and is one of the most impressive monuments on the West Bank.

Continue sailing toward Gebel El Silsila, an important ancient sandstone quarry area where many of the stones used to construct Egyptian temples were extracted.
